Automation Displays, Inc. (ADI) has been manufacturing
graphic control panels and graphic displays since 1971. ADI got its
start by providing a graphic control panel solution for just one
customer's electric control panel requirements. Today there are many
more customers and the company has developed into a fully custom
shop. Unlike most manufacturing operations based on economies of
scale, ADI is organized to manufacture just one, multiple units of a
single design, or numerous different control panels. That means, if
you need just one detention control panel or twenty detention control
panels, we can build them for you. Also, we can build electronic
control panels to interface with your system through our Z-Card
microprocessor, we also can wire directly to the customer
supplied interface equipment or use PLC protocols to
connect with the customer's system.
Additionally, there are some customers who wish to have their control
panels wired to terminals. So, there are a variety of interface
methods available.
Today, ADI is a full service custom manufacturing
operation that specializes in control panels and annunciators. So,
regardless of the number of display graphics needed, we can build them
to your exact specifications. If your project requires electronic
displays or annunciators to interface with microprocessor based
controllers or micro controllers we can do that, too. For instance, if
you have a school that needs a graphic fire alarm panel or a hospital
that needs temperature control panels in their OR rooms and surgical
suites, we can do
that. Or, if your next high-rise building project needs a graphic
smoke control panel, we can do that.
Since many of our control panels are installed in jurisdictions
that require UL7 Listing, ADI is certified to manufacture UL 864 Listed control
panels, UL 508 Listed control panels, and UL 864 UUKL smoke control panels.
In
Canada, ADI is certified to manufacture UL 864 UUKL-7 Listed smoke control
panels for specific Canadian customers. Additionally, we work closely with all the major building automation
companies to accomplish the smooth and seamless interface required
between our custom control panels and the PLC or Building Automation
System (BAS).
