Electrical Engineer

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, code, implement, test, and verify the software on embedded devices and systems

  • Design and/or work with outside design teams to design new embedded systems

  • Design electrical control, signaling, and display systems

  • Support the company’s growth by designing custom control, signaling, and display products for new market segments

  • Specify electrical components to be used and estimate costs for control, signaling, and display systems

  • Provide electrical and software technical support to customers as needed, typically by phone

  • Design, document, integrate, and trouble shoot electrical and software systems and subsystems from concept to delivery

  • Using computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks

  • Interface with customers and produce a final/manufacturable design from customer drawings and concepts

  • Manage multiple design projects at a time to meet customers timelines

  • Interpret customer drawings and technical requirements and work with customers to resolve design issues

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in programing embedded controllers

  • Experience with common building automation protocols: BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, and Ethernet

Control Panel Assembler

Essential Job Functions:

  • Wire and build electrical custom control panels according to customer specifications

  • Work with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics

  • Packaging of control panels upon completion

  • Perform work with high attention to detail and a priority for product quality

  • Maintain a high awareness of personal safety at all times

  • Practices LEAN concepts and methodologies

  • Supports the Vision, Values, and Strategic Goals of the Company

  • Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures established by the Company

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree, Technical Degree, Some College, High School Diploma or equivalent are all welcomed!

  • At least 1 - 2 years of electrical panel wiring experience or machine building experience

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p

Customer Account Manager

Essential Job Functions

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to our customers

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Respond to RFQs by preparing, sending quotes, and following up on quotes

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery according to customer needs and timeline

  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal team

  • Forecast and track key account metrics

  • Identify and grow opportunities within existing customer base and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure growth attainment

  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

  • Manage customer satisfaction with quality checks and other follow-up activities

  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales

  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge

  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • UL 508 Control Panel Design

  • UL 864 UUKL, UL 508, and UL 519 specifications

  • Understanding of electrical control panels, electrical circuits, and embedded controllers

  • Experience with embedded code programming

  • Experience with communications protocols, BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet

  • Experience with Building Automation Controls and PLC controls
